Developer Supergiant Games' 2020 roguelike Hades is getting its sequel. It's an opportune move that increases the stakes and gives a deeper look at familial politics.

1. Hades 2 Technical Test

If you're a big fan of Supergiant Games and their highly acclaimed 2020 Roguelike Hades is a good bet, then it could be worthwhile to sign up for the technical test for its sequel. The studio says its Early Access launch is on the horizon, and a playtest will help them iron out any bugs with smaller numbers of players than the full 1.0 release.

It's as easy as logging onto the game's Steam page, and then pressing the "request access" button. There are only a limited amount of slots available and not everyone will be chosen. The test's technical component allows players to explore the first area in Hades 2 with early-game content characters, systems, and characters. The players who have completed the test will be "gently advised" to stop and wait for the Early Access Version, which should launch shortly.

She can also collect items from the crossroads camp to use in future runs, and unlock trinkets, weapons boons, pathways, and other tools as she moves through.

Another great addition is the introduction of more open regions that offer different routes to take through each region, and an ever-changing setting to explore. Each region is an intriguing version of the Underworld and some are more accessible than others, each providing unique challenges that stand out against the standard fare of most other Roguelites.

Supergiant also altered the gameplay a bit in the early access build, reducing some of the grinding required to obtain certain upgrades and making it easier to move from one place to the next. Hades 2 is still far from being complete however, Supergiant has said that it will continue to refine the game and improve it to perfection.

Supergiant has a reputation for listening to its players and addressing any issues that come up, and that's evident in the way it's handled the early access version of Hades 2. It could be some time before the full version launches, but it already feels worthy of a place on your gaming shelf along with its predecessor.

3. Hades 2 Beta

Hades was a roguelike that was unlike any other when it was released in the year 2018. The game has been awarded numerous awards and is widely regarded as one of the best games ever created. 4. Hades 2 Release Date

Hades 2 is now available in early access for PC after a successful test.
